If you’ve not already purchased this kit, you can acquire it here:
Part One: Skin
You’ll find 8 scripts in this box. 5 are listeners for the various Mesh Bodys.
Omega Applier Script – L’Uomo – “Steve/Bruce/ Eric/Jake” v2.0
Omega Applier Script – L’Uomo – “Bruce” Flex v2.0
Omega Applier Script – L’Uomo – “Gary/Scott/Zac” v2.0
Omega Applier Script – L’Uomo – “Adam” v2.0
Omega Applier Script – L’Uomo – “Gary/Scott/Zac” Flex v2.0
Step One: Rez your L’Uomo mesh Body on the ground.
Step Two: Find the Listen script that corresponds to the body you have and place it in the mesh body.
Your Mesh L’Uomo Body will now respond to Tango and Omega Skin appliers!
Part Two: Clothes
The other 3 scripts are used for clothing layers.
Omega Applier Listener Script – L’Uomo Gloves
Omega Applier Listener Script – L’Uomo Body Suits
Omega Applier Listener Script – L’Uomo Pants
Step 1) Obtain L’Uomo Clothing Layers for your mesh body by using or opening the Wardrobe Rezzer for your Mesh.
If you do not already have it, this Rezzer can be found in the L’Uomo Designer Kit in the ” L’Uomo Wardrobe – Rezzer Delivery Box”.
Important: These scripts do NOT work on full perm mesh. Ensure you get the no-trans layers. NOT the full perm ones from the old dev kit.
Step 2) Rez out the Clothing layers you would like to use. L’Uomo provides a ton of these, so rez out as many or as few as you need.
Step 3) Place the appropriate clothing script in each layer you’ve rezzed. (L’Uomo Gloves in gloves, Pants in pants, ect…)
Step 4) While the body suits are still on the ground, try the included Omega Appliers. If they work correctly, skip ahead to step 7.
While most of the bodysuits in the dev kits are built the same, a few are flipped.
(ie, the face that is normally the top is the pants and vice versa).
If when you touched the included appliers, it appears a jumbled mess.
( in other words, top on bottom, bottom on top)
then it needs to be flipped. To do this:
Step 5) Touch the Bodysuit. A prompt will appear “Swap” or “Cancel”
Step 6) Press the Swap Button.
Your top and bottoms should now be in the correct place and future appliers will appear where they are supposed to. If for some reason you need to swap them again, just touch the body again.
(Note that the swap menu will only appear while the layers are rezed on the ground, not while worn)
Step 7) Pick up and wear your newly scripted layers. Make sure you rename them something you can remember before doing so.
Warning: Like most meshes L’Uomo has some variations from the normal SL UV map. While this rarely affects clothing layers, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you try a demo with appliers before purchasing skins! L’Uomo is very muscular (obviously) and has shape details not all skins may account for.
