Omega System Kit for Toddleedoo

The Details: 

  • Creator Info:
  • Standard Kit: The Bodies use a Drop in Script
  • Relay: The Heads use a Relay!  Simply wear the relay when you want to use an Omega Applier!
  • Permissions: Copy/Modify/No-Trans
  • Materials and Tinting
    • Materials: Materials is supported by the body scripts but NOT the head Relay.
    • Tinting: Only the Body supports Omega Tinting Appliers, however the heads are modify and can be tinted manually

    • Type D & B Heads : Head Type Varies. Some Heads are JUST skin. Some are Skin + 1 Makeup Layer.
  • Mesh Type:  Varies. Bodies Come with Bento Hands. Heads are a mix of Rigged and Bento.

Omega Kit Instructions:

This kit is designed to allow you to use your tango and phat azz clothing with the Toddleedoo  meshes! While there are some limitations, it should greatly expand your selection of skin, nail, makeup and clothing options ^.^

Toddleedoo Bodys

Step One:  Getting Omega Appliers to work. 

  1. Rez your Toddleedoo body on the ground.
  2. Find the Script labeled “Omega Listener Script – Toddleedoo” and drop it directly into your Toddleedoo.

Once this is done, your Toddleedoo mesh body should respond to  Omega Appliers.

Note:   You will have to keep using the HUD that Toddleedoo gave you to set transparency. Using a clothing applier will NOT automatically make that layer visible.

About the Layers: For Appliers, we have assigned Pants/Top to “looser”, Undies/Bra to “skinny” and Upper/Lower Tatts to “Socks” and “Gloves”. 

About the Nails: While we’ve had some luck getting nails to line up, the UV still isn’t MEANT for Omega. We’ve forced it through the power of REPEATS AND OFFSETS.
So expect wonkiness out of Omega Appliers.

Part One: Using Omega Appliers

Step One: Wear your ToddleeDoo Mesh Head
Step Two:  Attach the “Omega System Relay – TD Heads”.
Step Three: Use your Head, Head Tatt, or Eye Omega Applier.
Important: Not all TD Heads have a Tattoo Layer. Tattoo Appliers will only work on Heads that Do.

Part Two: Makeup Notes

This head will only respond to Tattoo or “All Zones” Buttons. On makeup and cosmetic appliers, look for buttons labeled “Tattoo”, “T”, “All Zones” or “A”. Usually this is at the bottom of the applier.

FAQs:

Why the two versions?
The nails on the Baby and Kid version of the mesh are slightly different, and the optimal settings for both is slightly different. Otherwise the scripts are identical.

Is there a Neck Blender?

There is a Neck Blender but it uses the Torso Texture instead of the Omega Neck blender Textures.  If you need one that takes Omega Neck blender Appliers, you can get one here:

Does it come with Eyes?

The Nails aren’t Working!
The nails work, but the mapping is a little different then most Omega Nails. We get it as close as possible with repeats/offsets/rot, but further tweaking may be needed.

Part One: Using Omega Appliers

Step One: Wear your Sking Butt, Body or Head.
Step Two:  Attach the “Omega Applier Relay for Sking”

 This should be visible at the top of your screen.

Step Three: Wear and use your Omega appliers.. (make sure the Relay stays attached!)

Part Two: The Menu

If you click the hud, you’ll notice the window on the left pops up and gives you some extra options.
~Makeup: Turns on or off Da Face Popups. (So the relay doesn’t annoy you with popups when you’re applying to OTHER heads)
~Refresh: Refreshes the Listeners if appliers aren’t cooperating.
~Debug: Resets the HUD. Use this if Refresh didn’t work.
~Help: Brings you here!
~Clear: Clear part of your DaFace Makeup!
~Test: Use to test your DaFace Makeup!
~Override: If you’re using Muscle 3.0 meshes, turn this on! It’ll foward everything to the top layer! (Which is the only layer you have!)

How to get your Phat Azz appliers to work:

Unlike Tango Appliers, Phat Azz Appliers must be converted to Omega before you can use them!

FAQ

Why is the Tattoo Button not working on my Brazillia Doll Body?
Pre-Gen  5 Brazilia Bodies call their tightest layer a “Tattoo” layer, but for us, it’s a Bra/Undies Layer. Normally we’d go ahead and send both tatts and undies to a layer like this, but some technical mumbo-jumbo prevented it in this case. 🙂  So just use the Bra/Undies button for that layer. 🙂

If however, you have a gen 5+ body, you likely need a kit update!

Is there a Neck Blender?

If you’re here, either you’re seeing this section embedded on an instructions page or you’ve been sent here because your Omega Isn’t working!

Things to Try when appliers aren’t working:

  1. Verify you’re on a sim that allows scripts. Easiest way: Toggle something on your Mesh HUD to see if it reacts.
  2. Attach the Relay or Installer that came with your Omega Kit.
    1. The Name of the Kit should match the Name of your Mesh. Ie, you should have a Maitreya Relay for Maitreya or a Logo Installer for Logo.
    2. If it’s an installer, click it and verify all your bits say “Thank you” in local chat. If it doesn’t say thank you, grab a redelivery of your mesh or open a new copy.
    3. If it’s a relay, keep it attached.
  3. Verify your mesh layers are turned ON. Mosts Body Meshes and some head meshes let you toggle your layers on and off. Sometimes, this will make it look like applier’s aren’t working. Take a moment to toggle them ALL off, and then back on.
  4. Check for Alpha-Glitch issues. Do this by turning all, or all but 1 of your body layers to Masking.
  5. Verify it’s not an applier issue. Take the applier to one of our inworld Mannequins and try it there. If it works, nothing is wrong with the applier. If it DOESN’T work, you may need to contact the applier creator.
  6. Verify you didn’t bork your Mesh. Many meshes now feature methods to remove their scripts. It helps with lag on RP sims. This does mean that occasionally a customer accidentally clicks on these buttons, ruining their ability to use appliers or their hud. To check, simply play with Mesh HUD to make sure the body is still reacting to it.  The easiest way is likely to play with the Alpha hud. If that works, you should be ok. If you DID bork your mesh, just grab a redelivery of your mesh or open a new copy.

Plugin Installation

Step One: Get an Update of your SelinA Mesh Body.
Step Two: Wear your SelinA Mesh Body.
Step Three:  Attach the “Omega System Installer – SelinaA”

Step Four: Click the installer, and verify the mesh thanks you in local.

Your mesh will now respond to Omega Appliers!
Hint: For more options, including resetting or deleting the Omega Scripts, click on the Settings Gears.

This one has a custom UV map for skins, but has created SLUV clothing layers for it!

Reminder: We do not REVIEW meshes, only list features and specs. 
 
Omega Kit Type: 
  • Standard: This kit uses 2 scripts dropped into the Mesh.

  • Instructions
  • Applier Checklist: Top, Bra, Undies, Pants ONLY. Skin and Tattoo layers are NOT SLUV.

Part One:   Clothing (Tops and Bottoms)

1. Rez the Clothing you got with the Body on the ground.

Hint: The clothing layers in question are in a box: “(NIRAMYTH) – AESTHETIC – Clothing Layer”

and look like this when you unbox them:

For each one, drop in the appropriate Script labeled “Omega Applier Listener Script for  [Niramyth] – Pants” or   “”Omega Applier Listener Script for  [Niramyth] – Tops” as appropriate.

2. Pick up all the parts and wear the ones you wish to use..

Your clothing layers Should now respond to Tango and Omega Appliers.

Part Two:   Clothing (BodySuit)

  1. Rez the BodySuit to the ground just like you did the Top and bottom.

Hint: The bodysuit is in the same box as the Clothing Layers: “(NIRAMYTH) – AESTHETIC – Clothing Layer”

and when you rez them on the ground:

2. Drop in the Script labeled “Omega Applier Listener Script for  [Niramyth] – Bodysuit”.

3. The bodysuit will ask you to click the chest. Go ahead and click the chest. If done correctly, the top should turn pink and it’ll look like this:

If it looks like this, you’re done! Otherwise, try clicking on the chest again!

2. Rename the Bodysuit and then pick it up!

Your bodysuit should now respond to Tango and Omega Appliers!

Step One:  Setting up your mesh

1.  Rez your Body, Hands, head and/or Feet onto the ground.
2.  Find the appropriate script(s) and drop them into the appropriate part.

  • Body Scripts go into Hands, Feet, Perky and Lush Bodys
  • Maternity Script goes into the Maternity Body. (Only untill Maternities next update, then it will use the Body script
  • Nipple Scripts go into the sold-separate mesh nipples.
  • Head Scripts go into the head.

3.  Pick up your parts.

Once this is done, your Kitties Lair mesh parts should respond to Tango Appliers and Omega Appliers.

Some things to notes:

  • You will have to keep using the HUD that Kitties Lair gave you to turn your layers on and off. Using a clothing applier will NOT automatically make that layer visible.
  • Not all Tango appliers are FULL appliers. Meaning instead of having the full upper texture, they only have the chest-plate texture, these will not work correctly sadly.
  • Kitties Lair does not use the standard Slink UV map for nails. Still, it was close enough to get the Omega Nail Appliers to work fairly well. Your results may vary, however.

Is there a Neck Blender?

If you’re here, either you’re seeing this section embedded on an instructions page or you’ve been sent here because your Omega Isn’t working!

Things to Try when appliers aren’t working:

  1. Verify you’re on a sim that allows scripts. Easiest way: Toggle something on your Mesh HUD to see if it reacts.
  2. Attach the Relay or Installer that came with your Omega Kit.
    1. The Name of the Kit should match the Name of your Mesh. Ie, you should have a Maitreya Relay for Maitreya or a Logo Installer for Logo.
    2. If it’s an installer, click it and verify all your bits say “Thank you” in local chat. If it doesn’t say thank you, grab a redelivery of your mesh or open a new copy.
    3. If it’s a relay, keep it attached.
  3. Verify your mesh layers are turned ON. Mosts Body Meshes and some head meshes let you toggle your layers on and off. Sometimes, this will make it look like applier’s aren’t working. Take a moment to toggle them ALL off, and then back on.
  4. Check for Alpha-Glitch issues. Do this by turning all, or all but 1 of your body layers to Masking.
  5. Verify it’s not an applier issue. Take the applier to one of our inworld Mannequins and try it there. If it works, nothing is wrong with the applier. If it DOESN’T work, you may need to contact the applier creator.
  6. Verify you didn’t bork your Mesh. Many meshes now feature methods to remove their scripts. It helps with lag on RP sims. This does mean that occasionally a customer accidentally clicks on these buttons, ruining their ability to use appliers or their hud. To check, simply play with Mesh HUD to make sure the body is still reacting to it.  The easiest way is likely to play with the Alpha hud. If that works, you should be ok. If you DID bork your mesh, just grab a redelivery of your mesh or open a new copy.

Remember when asking for help in ANY support group to be polite and specific with your query. For best results, do not open with “hi” or “can someone help me?” but instead open with an explanation of the problem. 

Response rate varies based on who is online and what they know, so be patient. Sometimes you can get a delayed response, and sometimes there’s simply not someone online with an answer to your specific question. In this case, try one of the other support groups/options or come back later and try again when more or different people are around.

If you’re not sure if the problem is Omega, don’t stress, just try any of the above support options. If nothing else, they can help you sort out if it’s an Omega problem or something else.
