Neck Blenders for Men
First.. because there has been many.. many requests…I FINALLY got the Neck kit updated for men! It now includes 1 neck size and 3 neck blender options for menfolk.
http://slpoweredbyomega.com/instructions/instructions-omega-neck-stub/

Head Updates: In an attempt for a more intuitive design, I’m experimenting with a new method of Makeup Application. I’ve started updating select heads and kits to react to the “HUD” and “ALL” buttons by bringing up a popup for you to select where to apply a texture.  Theoretically, this should reduce the need to use the routing hud and help folks who just sorta blindly click. 🙂 (Since all buttons on the applier will either apply the texture in the default areas or bring up a popup!)

Full Perm Kit Changes:  Well.. it looks like Full Perm Heads are going to be more and more of a thing, so after talking with Customers, Creators and my Minions I’ve decided to make a change in the pricing Structure. Before, to reflect the Added work of keeping such a kit secure and providing Customer Service for it, I set the price at 299L for the Meli Imako Kit as well as the Safy Belle One.   I’ve decided to change this as to not punish end users. Instead there is now two kit editions for each of these products and future products like them.

  • The Creator Edition includes a transferable Plug-in script to be placed in the head before sale, instructions for naming, test appliers and anything else I think might be useful with a particular head. It is priced at 299L, only available inworld and only available after purchasing the “Customer Edition”
  • The Customer Edition includes an Installer and because I know some people won’t set the head up correctly before selling it…  a no-transfer “demo” version of the Plug-in Script along with instructions.   It won’t include any of the other tools and bits I decide to include with the Creator Edition. It will cost the normal 99L but will not have a Group Discount available.

Phat Azz Channel Updates:

Well…. it took 2 years.. and giving up completely.. but I did it… I found CK Winx! (Rather he found me.. ) For those of you who aren’t 100yo in SL years, that’s the creator of Phat Azz, not the first mesh booty, but the one that really launched them into the mainstream. You can still find TONS of appliers for it on the MP and every booty had its’ own instructions for converting them!

And now, with CK’s help and permission, I’ve updated the Generic Router to convert allll those Phat Azz appliers into an Omega Ones.
https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Generic-Router-for-Omega-Heads-v21/7337832

Simply make sure you are wearing the router when you use the phat azz applier.  No more clunky Notecard swapping for phat azz (thank goodness).

And if you want to make a permanent applier for yourself instead, I’ve also updated the Applier Converters to listen for Phat Azz as well. 🙂

  • Wear the Implants
  • Wear the Included Installer
  • Click it, and it should tell you “Thank you for Installing Omega!”

Creator TOS

In addition to our Full TOS Here, Use of this kit is subject to the following:

  1. These Scripts may not be used to break the TOSs of Linden Labs, Omega or the Creator of the Mesh. This means if you are a reseller, make sure the creators TOS allows Omega Scripting Explicitly. If Omega is not mentioned in their TOS, ask the Creator Directly.
  2. These Scripts may not be used for IP infringement of any sort.
  3. All scripts must be set to No-Mod/No-trans before distribution.
  4. Listener scripts must be distributed IN a finished product, not by themselves.
  5. Products must be fully set up and tested before being Advertised as Omega Friendly. This means:
    1. You’ve configured the mesh by adding the keywords bellow
    2. You’ve inserted the listener scripts.
    3. You’ve provided a working HUD.
    4. You’ve tested it all to make sure it works properly
  6. The Included Logo must be prominently displayed on the product vendor and never displayed alone where it might be grabbed.
  7. The Included Logo must NOT be put on items that have not satisfied Line 5.

[collapse]
Basic Requirements and Limitations

  • First, your mesh will need to be a SLUV or TUV mesh.
  • This can include:
    • Implants
    • Chest Pieces
    • Nipples
    • Any mesh that repurposes upper body textures
  • It is NOT appropriate for anything with:
    • Legs
    • Hands
    • Feet
    • Heads
    • Eyes, Nails, Neckblenders, etc
  • The Scripts will not work in Transferable Mesh at any time. You will need to take steps to be able to test your creation while it is no-trans. (More info bellow)
  • This Kit requires the inserting of scripts and the editing of prim descriptions.
    • Unless you’ve purchased breasts already set up, you will need to modify permissions to make use of this kit.
    • This may interfere with other scripts that make use of the prim descriptions. This usually is not an issue since most commercial products rely on prim names rather than descriptions, but if for some reason you need a copy of the script that uses names instead of descriptions, let me know, I shall send you some.

[collapse]
Creator Instructions

Rez, Link and Configure your Breasts

First Step is to rez all the bits of your implants. You’re going to put the following keywords into the descriptions

  • skin
  • tatt
  • bra
  • top

For the nipples, it’s a little different. The script as built can support over a dozen nipples.
If for some odd reason you need more than that, feel free to IM me. I’ll figure something out.
So, place the following in the nipple descriptions:

  • nipple:1
  • nipple:2
  • nipple:3
  • etc….

If you desire a root prim, now is the time to add one.

Set the Permissions of the Scripts and Breasts

BEFORE adding the Omega Scripting change the permissions on it to no-trans. While you’re at it, you might as well set the permissions of the Breasts to no-trans as well. For the security of our Applier Creators, do note that NO Omega Script, this one included, will function while a mesh has Transfer Permissions.

Insert the appropriate Script

There are 3 Listener Scripts included, one for SLUV Implants, one for Tango UV Implants and one for Nipples.
If you’re unsure if your implants are SLUV or TUV, TUV means that your UV uses most of the Texture Space.  Your Breasts are roughly centered in the UV to match other Implants.   SLUV breasts, on the other hand, have the breast centered in the upper left corner of the UV map, to match mesh bodies and other SLUV meshes.

If you have the ability, I do recommend going with a TUV arrangement for better compatibility with older partial appliers.  While TUV breasts have no issues wearing SLUV textures,  going the other way can have some weird results if the repeats/offsets/rot used are not typical.  That said, I have programmed the SLUV script with corrections for the most common arrangements partial appliers use.

The Nipple Script is for Stand Alone Nipples only and does a simple Link_Set/All_sides texturing. If that is not good enough (ie, if there are piercings attached), use one of the breast scripts.

Testing the Listener Scripts

Now, none of the scripts work in a mesh that is transferable, ever. So how do you test your work? You have two options:

  1. Pass the now set up boobies to an alt and buy them a consumer kit to activate the scripts.
  2. Make a copy of the breasts and attach a random no-transferable prim to them. This will leave you with a set of your breasts that are no-transfer.

Either way, you will need to use the included installer named “Omega System Installer – Implant Kit”

Setting up the HUD

If your mesh has 3 or fewer nipples, you have the option of skipping this step and letting them use the HUD that comes with the Kit. However, if you provide more than 3 nipples you will need to add more buttons to the HUD.

First Step is to reskin the HUD to your liking.  There is a PSD Here
Next will be to add and subtract buttons for Nipple Selection.
Nipple Selection Buttons should be named “nipple” with a number in the description. Note: 0 is reserved for “no nipples”
Nipple Mode Buttons, if you have multiple are named “mode” with “nipple:4” , “nipple:5”, “nipple:6”, etc. Note, you only NEED one nipple mode button. It will affect all of the nips… I’m just weird and like tidy rows 🙂

Once you’re done, make sure you set the HUD no-trans and all it’s scripts to No-mod/no-trans.

More Info about the HUD

If you have the Creators Edition, All the scripts in the HUD are full perm. Since there’s no sensitive information getting passed through it, I saw no reason to restrict it to no-modify. This means you can add additional features to the scripts if you so desire, or take what you can gleen from them and make your own HUD for your mesh!

Also note, there is a Rotation Script in the HUD used for shrinking down the hud and opening it back up again. I left this open as well. If you change the prim configuration of the HUD you may have to adjust the rotations in the script. No, I cannot help you with this. 🙂
